bosses...rahman...update
i wont say i have been busy...that i did not get time to update the blog for long...cause that is not true...
Its just that I have been too lazy and caught up with facebook and twitter to pay any attention here...
Also, I had nothing ground breaking happening around me ... until now...
So ladies and gentlemen...as i update you on my life...with much effort to hold your interest into reading this post in its entirety...the topic for today as the title suggests...are my bosses...
I dont know about you...but i must say that i have been extremely lucky through out my professional career to have got very good bosses (*touchwood*) I know...I know...you might think i am joking...or that there must be some hidden sarcasm to that statement i just made...but there isnt...I genuinely admire all the bosses i have worked for till now!
The best about my present boss is that he has taught me not just work related but also a lot of things...which i would take as life lessons...It is said that your life is made from what is influenced on you by the people around you...and it is good to have a professional mentor that helps you grow as a person.
So...the point being...that....somehow....I think...and strongly believe...that the reason you stick to your job...or leave...has a lot to do with your boss...
I wish i would always get mentors in my professional life from whom i can learn...and grow...when they praise...when they scold....when they act...when they react...when everything that they do...is ultimate!
Your boss is your teacher after school.
On other things worth noting down....attended A R Rahman's concert a while back...It was awesome....!
some thing that i desperately needed i think...when songs sing to your heart....make you realise things you always wanted to know...that moment Rahman gave me through his songs that day...

finding your Red T-shirt
Over the years...I have struggled to have a taste in clothes...Most of my friends used to complain about it...and eventually the nagging stopped when I let them decide on what would/does look good on me. If you ask me personally, I like to try new things...so anything 'off-beat' or trendy...I dont mind giving it a try...
But then...when a lot of people say you have a fucked up taste in clothes...trust them..its for your own good! :)
I looked at my closet the other day and I noticed that I dont have a bright Red T-shirt...
Ever since I can remember...I have always wanted a Red Tee...you know the perfect red colour...not too dark...not to bright...just the perfect one...
I have till now not been able to find one...the perfect one..
I look at my closet full of clothes...I think about the Red Tee I want...and I still get that incomplete feeling...a if there is something missing...
Sometimes... you can have a lot of things in life...you can fill your closet with the best of things that come very near to the Red Tee you always wanted...but you will still always crave for it...and nothing can replace the thing you always wanted.
I personally believe...that one should not let go of that craving...keep shopping....but dont settle for less...
You want a good Red Tee...you keep looking for it...because once you get it...that 'complete' feeling would be priceless...
Now that...is worth waiting for....

All of these and everything else.
Its been a long time...I think the use of social media kills your instinct to blog...simply cos every moment of your life is on the net anyways...which leaves this space for contemplation and profound thoughts...
anyway...i still feel the need to come back here...i think i should probably get back to writing more...it is better to write some thoughts down than letting them eat your brain out...
I always have believed that everything happens because it is supposed to happen...everything that is around you is made to make to live the way you are supposed to...and the events in your life define your existence.
Although I think i have developed a lot of positiveness around me in the last few years...which has helped me grow...I also get this feeling that if something has to happen to you...or is meant for you...it should and will fall in your lap...
Say...you like someone...you want a job...you want to buy something...all of these and everything else...it has to fall in place...
I love it when the nature works its own beautiful way of giving you what you want....when things happen at the right moment and at the right time...when something you did unknowingly turns into a reason for happiness and joy for someone else...
What I am saying might sound vague and aimless to you...but think about it...
Isnt it an amazing feeling when all you need is given to you...in the right way...almost like magic...
Isnt that better than you making notes of good/bad, right/wrong, likes/dislikes,want/dont want, match/not match...
Let life be like love...and let love be like life...just let it happen...
Found this at a restaurant in Thailand...must read...tells and teaches a lot about life...

Decisions
There are times in your life when you question your decisions...what is right...what is wrong...what would have been...with what
is...
Notice how all of your decisions are influenced by people
around you...by friends, relatives, situations, moods...
One decision...every decision in your life is a filter of
all these aspects...
The point I am trying to make is that...amongst all this
influence...one should draw the line and understand what one really
wants...what is the true 'self' and consequence of the decision.
Throughout mankind...the problem and essentially also the
essence of life has always been choice.
So let it be yours...learn from others...but execute what
you feel.
Don't
let someone's opinion become your reality.
True Story.

About Mistakes...just a quote...
"There are certain things in life where you know it's a mistake but you don't really know it's a mistake because the only way to really know it is a mistake is to make that mistake and look back and say, "Yup, that was a mistake".
So really, the bigger mistake would be to not make the mistake because then you'll go your whole life not really knowing if something is a mistake or not. And well...by the end of it..You will realize, you made no mistakes."
